Day 3 of water fasting was quite easy compared to Day 2. The food cravings were quite less compared to day 2. In the afternoon the cravings were high but by evening, it was like I don’t care for food. The surprising part was that I didn’t felt thirsty. I drank some water but yet I never felt I am thirsty. The theory behind this was that my digestive system has started braking the body fats. When body fats are broken it also release water, hence your body feels less thirsty or none. I also read somewhere in a forum that a guy did 12 day air fast (only on air, not even water) the reason he survived was maybe due to water in the fats. But please don’t ever try it, its really risky. The logic here is the same as how a camel survives in desert due to its hump. The fats gets broken and water is available to the camels body.

Bowel movements were almost to none. My day was not much productive as day 2, though I enjoyed reading some good Indian author novels like Chetan Bhagat’s “Five point someone”. Though I feel I might have enjoyed the book more if I was not on a fast.

I didn’t had dreams of food anymore. Water fasting seemed quite bearable. I also found some energy boost by the night. Though it becomes quite difficult to move once you’re on a stationary position. You actually have to sit or stand taking support from hands.

The fast is turning good. I hope the body is getting cleaned.
